Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola is seeking a Physical Therapist to join the Inpatient Rehabilitation department on a PRN schedule. You will evaluate and treat patients according to medically prescribed PT programs, helping restore function and independence in an acute care setting.

The role requires performing initial and ongoing patient assessments, establishing and updating a plan of care with patient/family involvement, and applying standard PT techniques to address each condition.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
• Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice licensure prior to hire.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's/Doctorate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establish, revise, and evaluate a plan of care involving patient/family.
• Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques.
