Exalt Health, LLC. is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team in a hospital setting.

You will deliver direct patient care under licensed PT supervision, educate patients and families, and contribute to optimal outcomes for patients with complex rehabilitative needs. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, supervising ADLs, documenting sessions, and collaborating with nurses, physicians, and social workers.

Competenze

• Current, unencumbered PTA license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Associate degree in occupational therapy (as stated).
• 2 years inpatient rehabilitation experience (preferred).
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in documentation.

Mansioni

• Conduct patient interviews and assessments.
• Implement treatment plans with the physical therapist, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and manual therapy.
• Instruct and motivate patients in ADLs safely and effectively.
• Monitor patient progress, document sessions, and report findings to the PT.
• Educate patients and families on condition, treatment plan, and home exercise programs.
• Assist with ambulation training and use of assistive devices.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with nurses, doctors, social workers, and others.
• Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in rehabilitation medicine.
