Job summary
United Medical Rehabilitation Hospital in Gretna, LA seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist for inpatient rehab to help patients regain mobility and function after injuries or surgery. You will assess patients, plan and implement therapy, and coordinate with the care team to ensure comprehensive treatment.
The position requires a Master of Science in Physical Therapy, NBCPT, BCLS, and Louisiana licensure, with full-time hours and weekend differential.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for Registered Physical Therapist.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Current Louisiana licensure.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and gather data for treatment planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document assessments, treatment, and progress timely.
- Supervise and direct LPTAs.
- Coordinate care with the treatment team and family.
- Participate in discharge planning.
- Adhere to infection control and standards.
