Job summary

Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist to join the LMH Inpatient Rehab Services. This full-time PT position offers 4 ten-hour shifts (Sun, Mon, Wed, Thu) with holiday coverage and Sunday differential pay, and allows 2 Sundays off per quarter.

You will evaluate patients, create and implement treatment plans, document care, and educate patients and families across inpatient and outpatient rehab services. Florida PT license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an approved program in physical therapy.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida—renewed every two years.
• Must maintain CPR certification. Continuing Education as required by State Practice Act.
• Newly licensed PTs and tenured PTs welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, gathering data from the patient, the physician, interdisciplinary team meetings if available, family and significant other persons and data sources.
• Develops treatment plans which integrate with the continuum of care and have specific goals and objectives and treats accordingly.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned caseload.
• Ensures complete documentation and accurate billing.
• Provides patient/family education as indicated.
