Job summary

SGMC Health’s Inpatient Rehab Therapy department at the Main Campus seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive services across age groups, from assessment to intervention, in an interdisciplinary setting.

The role emphasizes documentation, collaboration with physicians, and quality improvement in patient care. Must hold a Georgia license and CPR certification, with geriatric experience preferred. Full-time, day shifts, with a $30,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a four year bachelor’s degree program (or foreign equivalent).
• Hold an applicable and current license in the state of Georgia.
• Experience with adult and geriatric populations is desirable.
• Ability to work individually and in teams including leadership.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of physical therapy services for all ages, including assessment, treatment planning, and interventions.
• Document care provided and coordinate plan of care with physicians and other disciplines.
• Demonstrate accountability for program development, quality improvement, and productivity.
• Maintain alignment with SGMC Health mission and standards.
