Job summary

Phoebe Putney Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Inpatient Rehab Center on Phoebe North Campus in Albany, GA. The role focuses on intensive, 3-hour daily functional training and collaboration with PT/PTAs, OT/COTAs, SLPs, and RTs under rehab physicians to restore independence after stroke, spinal cord injuries, or major orthopedic events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• 0–1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Physical Therapist license required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement individualized treatment programs for patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Supervise PTAs and staff, and document patient care.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Engage in ongoing education to enhance patient care and departmental effectiveness.
