Southcoast Health in Fall River, MA, seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will lead medical management and oversee rehabilitation plans for patients recovering from stroke, trauma, spinal cord injury, and other complex conditions.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Eligibility for unrestricted Massachusetts medical licensure.
• DEA certification and ability to obtain Southcoast Health medical staff privileges.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the physician for patients admitted to the inpatient rehabilitation unit.
• Conduct comprehensive admission evaluations and establish individualized rehabilitation plans of care.
• Lead the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Oversee rehabilitation treatment programs and supervise therapy services.
• Evaluate and manage medical comorbidities impacting rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborate with Hospitalists and specialists to optimize patient care.
