Job summary

Adventist HealthCare’s White Oak Medical Center in Maryland seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist for the Inpatient Rehabilitation department who will advance our mission to extend compassionate care through physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

You will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, coordinate with the care team, and supervise rehab aides. Must hold an active Maryland OT license and BLS certification; full-time schedule with a $10,000 sign-on bonus payable in installments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• 1 year of site-specific experience preferred.
• Active Maryland OT License.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform an initial examination and evaluation to establish impairment, diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of care.
• Provide, or direct and supervise, therapy interventions aligned with the plan of care.
• Plan for discharge with consideration of goals and outcomes.
• Communicate and document patient management with the care team; supervise rehab aides and office staff.
