Job summary

Milwaukee Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and deliver rehabilitation services in a setting focused on maximizing independence in ADLs and IADLs. The role covers cognition, psychosocial skills, and sensorimotor functions to improve safety and performance in daily activities.

The position requires state licensure as an OT and BLS certification from AHA or ARC (online certs not accepted). Inpatient rehab experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross; online certification is not acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, and delivers or delegates services to maximize function in ADL, IADL, education, work, play, and social participation.
• Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components.
• Promotes safety and performance in daily activities and rehab goals.
