Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Temple, TX is seeking a Nursing Assistant (PCT) to support inpatient care on the day shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.).

You will obtain vital signs and assist with daily living, meals, and patient transport as part of a dedicated rehab team. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (or relevant experience) and BLS within 90 days of hire; hospital experience or CNA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, hair care).
• Deliver meals and snacks, assist feeding, and document oral intake.
• Turn and position immobile patients safely and participate in mobility programs.
• Transport patients to designated areas such as treatment centers.
