Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation required or preferred.
• Eligible for, or certified as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) by NCTRC.
• Recreational therapist licensure in Virginia.
• Experience level: Expert in Recreation Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver recreation therapy services to patients within the department’s scope.
• Maintain professional standards and follow department policies and procedures.
• Prepare and execute patients’ recreation therapy plan of care; report to Inpatient Therapy Supervisor.
