Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for inpatient care. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed PT, with a traditional Monday-Friday schedule and one weekend shift per month.

The role focuses on planning and implementing high-level therapy sessions for medically complex patients, including stroke and orthopedic conditions, within a collaborative multidisciplinary team setting.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the therapy plan of care under licensed PT supervision.
• Coordinate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and run high-level inpatient rehab group sessions.
• Contribute to patient education, family/caregiver instruction, and ongoing assessment within scope of practice.
