Job summary

Fairview Health Services seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner – Adult Inpatient Psychiatry to moonlight with the Fairview medical team at its 144-bed behavioral health hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.

This on-site role requires weekday-only coverage with a minimum 2–3 shifts per month and compensation of $85/hour. You will handle admission support, crisis intervention, and psychotropic medication initiation/adjustments for adults in acute inpatient care, collaborate with onsite nursing

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing school and accredited NP program.
• PMHNP certification required and board-certified status.
• Minnesota APRN license or ability to obtain.
• DEA certification for Minnesota required/maintainable.
• BC/BE through AANP or ANCC.

Responsibilities

• Admission support and crisis intervention for adults.
• Psychotropic medication initiation and adjustments.
• Cross-coverage of inpatients as needed.
• Collaboration with onsite nursing leadership.
• Structured handoffs to attending providers.
