Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit. Qualifications

• A HS Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• BLS certification within three months of hire.
• Six months of practical experience in a behavioral health or educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to patients.
• Monitor and maintain the safety of patients.
• Assist with de-escalating acute behavioral episodes.
• Complete patient care documentation.
