Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, Ohio, is adding a BE/BC Inpatient Behavioral Health Psychiatrist to its Neuroscience team at Dublin Springs, a OhioHealth/Lifepoint joint venture. The physician will be employed by OhioHealth Physician Group and participate in teaching residents and medical students.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, with potential move to 7 on 7 off in the future. The role covers up to 10 inpatients daily in a 24-bed unit, treating mood and psychotic disorders, often with substance use

Qualifications

• BE/BC Psychiatrist through the ABPN.
• Teaching experience and an interest in an inpatient psychiatric setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as an inpatient psychiatrist at Dublin Springs, a joint venture employed by OhioHealth Physician Group.
• Teach and mentor residents, medical students, and fellows with GME involvement.
• Provide clinical coverage for up to 10 patients per day in a 24-bed unit for adults with mood/psychotic disorders and comorbid substance use disorders.
