Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist for an inpatient behavioral health service in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The clinician will conduct inpatient consultations and perform daily rounding in a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates must be board-certified and able to practice with prescriptive authority. This assignment is full-time (40 hours per week) with negotiable call, and dates needed ASAP through ongoing coverage in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient consultations in behavioral health.
• Perform daily rounding within the behavioral health setting.
• Evaluate and manage patients across all age groups (children to older adults).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (MDs, APRNs, LCSWs) to ensure continuity of psychiatric care.
