Job summary

BayRidge Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our 64-bed inpatient psychiatric unit in Lynn, MA. The role involves skilled nursing care from admission to discharge and collaboration with medical staff to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

You will participate in treatment planning, administer medications, monitor patient status, and support daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in nursing preferred from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current professional license registration (RN) in Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Administer medications and monitor effectiveness.
• Assess, plan, and implement care based on patient status and symptoms.
• Respond to patient care needs and assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and develop plans of care.
