Job summary

Matrix Providers Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse - Psychiatric for the IBHU Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit at the Jacksonville Naval Hospital.

The role involves coordinating psychiatric nursing care, administering medications, and supervising clinical staff in a military healthcare facility. Responsibilities include assessments, crisis intervention, documenting progress, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Degree/education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
• Current RN license in the U.S. (any state).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through AHA or ARC.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate psychiatric nursing care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Assess patients via exams, histories, and observations.
• Administer medications and provide triage and wound care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and wellness.
• Lead and supervise healthcare personnel and coordinate transitions of care.
