Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate nursing/medical needs of patients.
• Initiate and direct implementation of the nursing care plan.
• Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior and condition.
• Administer medications and treatment as ordered by the physician.
• Assist with physical examinations.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Directs delivery of and evaluate psychiatric/nursing care of patients delivered by professional and nonprofessional staff.
• Prepare, review, implement and update records/reports/plans.
• Serve as an interdisciplinary treatment team member.
