Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Inpatient Psychiatric Hospitalist for a Pool/PRN position in metropolitan Atlanta. The role covers inpatient psychiatry and related settings, with a multidisciplinary care team and opportunities for professional development.

Qualified candidates hold an MSN and PMHNP-BC with active APRN licensure and DEA, plus several years of hospital experience; the job provides comprehensive benefits and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• MSN from an accredited program.
• PMHNP-BC with active state APRN licensure and DEA.
• Three years of nursing in clinic plus two years as NP.
• Two years of hospital clinical work.

Responsibilities

• Provide full PMHNP scope and autonomous decision-making.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, NPs/PAs, social work, therapy, pharmacy, and case management.
• Deliver psychiatric care across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
• Manage crises and safety, including ED triage support.
• Participate in shared call rotation including after-hours orders.
