Job summary

Butler Hospital in Providence, RI, part of Care New England, seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient access team in the Emergency Room, full-time or part-time. You will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse patient population.

You will work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with psychiatrists, residents, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and others.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Certified by ANCC.
• Active Rhode Island APRN, RN, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
• 2+ years of PMHNP experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
• Flexible scheduling: Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday second-shift coverage.
• Shift flexibility: 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts available.
• Work within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team that includes attending psychiatrists, psychiatry residents, nurse practitioner, social workers, pharmacists, and nurses.
• Epic electronic medical record implemented system-wide.
