Job summary

Signet Health Corp in Midland, Texas is actively hiring for full-time inpatient mental health therapists (LCSWs, LPCs, LMSWs and LPC-As) to work on-site at our brand-new free standing psychiatric hospital.

You will conduct initial assessments, provide individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, and participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning with adherence to EHR documentation and regulatory standards. Weekend work required.

Qualifications

• Two years of inpatient psychiatric experience.
• Hospital experience with children, adolescents, and/or adults.
• Unencumbered Texas license as LCSW, LPC, LMSW or LPC-A.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial assessments and groups.
• Provides mental health counseling to individuals and families.
• Crisis intervention as needed.
• Assures documentation is timely and recorded in the EHR and is in strict compliance with DNV, CMS and other regulatory agencies
• Participates in the interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
• Effectively communicates with team and other departments
• Works well within a team environment
• Additional duties as assigned
• Will work some weekends
