Job summary

Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Hospital in Knoxville, TN seeks an Inpatient Physiatrist to join our PM&R program. This full-time role offers private-practice style billing with relocation and a strong patient volume.

The physician will manage inpatient rehabilitation cases, coordinate admissions, and participate in a 1:4 call schedule. Opportunity for an outpatient practice is available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Patient-centered commitment to excellence.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Hospital-based physiatry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult inpatient caseload and admissions in PM&R.
• Inpatient consulting and patient admissions coordination with IM physicians.
• Share call schedule of 1:4.
• Maintain a full-time caseload of 18–20 patients with flexible volume.
