Qualifications

• Graduates awaiting examination may practice under a GPT license in Rhode Island or a temporary MA license.
• Active BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Examines and evaluates patients.
• Establishes diagnosis, prognosis, and individualized plans of care.
• Implements treatment interventions per plan of care and safety considerations.
• Directs and coordinates patients' rehabilitation plan of care.
• Evaluates progress and revises goals and plan of care accordingly.
• Completes documentation and charges accurately and timely per department policy.
• Performs clinical documentation reflecting eligibility/medical necessity of services.
