Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Shreveport is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide direct inpatient physical therapy, supervise treatments, and develop personalized care plans. Qualifications include current state licensure, CPR certification, and a master’s degree preferred (or bachelor’s with substantial field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient care to patients requiring physical therapy.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead assessments and create personalized care plans.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients to support their recovery holistically.
• Celebrate patient progress and outcomes along the rehabilitation journey.
