Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Physical Therapist for a part-time position in the Inpatient/Acute unit at Community Hospital Anderson in Anderson, IN. The role involves evaluating patients, setting goals, and implementing treatment plans in a fast-paced rehab setting.

The ideal candidate has a BS degree, Indiana PT license (or temporary permit), and the ability to lift/transfer patients. Weekend/holiday coverage may be required; benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program is required.
• Must have a valid Indiana Physical Therapy license or temporary permit.
• Experienced and new graduate Physical Therapist eligible.
• Must be knowledgeable in anatomy/physiology, evaluation and therapy, current materials and technological advances, and new professional trends.
• You must communicate effectively with staff, patients, families, physicians and customers.
• The role requires understanding developmental needs across age groups and lifting/transferring patients and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Interpret initial evaluation and determine patient goals.
• Develop and modify treatment plans using appropriate techniques.
• Participate in teaching opportunities or clinical education of students.
• Engage in inter-disciplinary program planning.
• Maintain a safe environment supporting effective teamwork and patient outcomes.
