Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You’ll provide direct PT care in a supportive setting with a focus on individualized patient plans and outcomes.

You will supervise treatments, assess progress, and build strong therapeutic relationships with patients and families. A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s plus relevant experience, with licensed/certified practice per state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient care to patients needing physical therapy.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, and create personalized care plans.
• Build meaningful relationships by understanding patients’ physical, mental, and emotional needs to support recovery.
