Job summary

Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, MI is seeking an energetic Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat inpatients in a fast-paced acute care setting. The role requires a Michigan license and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.

Schedule is primarily M-F with two weekend days per month, and a focus on safe, effective patient care. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care, document thoroughly, and ensure adherence to insurance guidelines

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.
• Certification/Licensure: Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation and treatment of patients in inpatient rehab.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and professional standards.
• Collaborates with the care team to develop and implement care plans.
• Documents patient interactions and progress per regulatory requirements.
• Applies appropriate therapy modalities and re-evaluates patient progress.
• Oversees support staff and ensures effective scheduling and productivity.
