Job summary

Ochsner Health System is seeking an inpatient physical therapist to evaluate patients and implement therapy plans based on physician orders. You will collaborate with the care team to direct patients to appropriate post-acute or home care to achieve specific goals.

You must hold a PT license or be eligible for licensure, and maintain BLS certification. Exceptional communication and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy required.
• Current physical therapy license in state of practice or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity from another state; Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and provide treatment programs to facilitate patient specific goals.
• Assess patient’s response to treatment and adjust plans to improve outcomes and safety.
• Maintain patient records per standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure treatment protocols contribute to hospital quality and safety targets.
