Assist patients in reaching maximum physical performance while adjusting to disabilities. Restores Patient Physical Functioning by interpreting physical therapy evaluations and test results; determining physical therapy treatment goals and plans; administering manual exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities and in using assistive and supportive devices.
NWH is recruiting for a physical therapist, per diem, in the acute care/inpatient setting, to cover shifts on both weekdays and weekends. Broad availability to work weekday shifts is desired. Availability to cover 2 weekend shifts per month (Saturdays, Sundays, or 1 of each) is required. Comprehensive orientation and mentoring program is available to the hired clinician, especially new graduate clinicians. At least 1 year of clinical experience in either acute care, acute rehab, or home care clinical settings is preferred; will consider new graduates with acute care or acute rehab clinical experiences.
Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy required or Master's Degree Physical Therapy preferred or Doctor of Physical Therapy Physical Therapy preferred
