Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients and ensure proper procedures are followed to maintain safety and comfort.
• Perform phlebotomy on inpatients and outpatients; may be assigned to outpatient satellite laboratories.
• Outpatient staff are responsible for order entry of Laboratory orders.
• Inpatient phlebotomy includes morning rounds and beeper phlebotomy; other duties as assigned.
