Qualifications

• California State CPT certification is required.
• Experience obtaining blood samples by venipuncture and capillary puncture from all age groups.
• Maintain 3 CEU per year according to CA State requirements.
• Valid BLS CPR certification from American Heart Association is required.
• Maintain N95 fitting or alternative.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of blood collection within department time limits.
• Venipuncture and capillary puncture on patients of all ages.
• Accession and process specimens.
