Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking pharmacy technicians to assist in inpatient pharmacy operations at UVA Health.

These roles include preparing, labeling, and delivering medications to nursing units, supporting medication safety, and collaborating with licensed pharmacists to ensure accurate dispensing. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, at least 6 months of relevant experience, Virginia pharmacy technician registration, and CPhT certification (NHA or PTCB).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience.
• Virginia Pharmacy Technician Registration required; CPhT through NHA or PTCB required; for hires prior to Feb 1, 2020, certification via NHA/PTCBB was required by Jan 31, 2022.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and label medications for inpatient use.
• Deliver medications directly to nursing units and patient care areas.
• Support clinical workflows and medication safety protocols.
• Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
