Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or equivalent experience.
• State of Washington Pharmacy Technician certification is required.
• Experience with sterile IV admixture preferred.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Fill medications from Pyxis refill sheets for the entire hospital.
• Deliver medications to nursing units and other areas of the hospital.
• Package medications in single-unit packages.
• Restock shelves in the unit dose fill and front counter areas.
• Complete monthly outdate checks and cleaning as assigned by Supervisor.
• Under supervision of a Pharmacist, perform bulk compounding of pharmaceuticals from a formula.
