Job summary

Shands Hospital at the University of Florida seeks a Pharmacy Technician Level 1 to handle technical and clerical duties in the inpatient distribution system. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and active PTCB certification, plus training or experience per UFShands guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must operate typewriter, calculator, and computer workstation.
• Must demonstrate ability to perform mathematical calculations to prepare medications.
• Active status as a certified pharmacy technician with PTCB.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and Laminar Air Flow Hood experience preferred.
• Experience with repackaging and compounding techniques preferred.

Responsibilities
