Job summary

John Muir Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, and updating patient records. This role operates under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and adheres to established procedures.

Two years inpatient experience is preferred and California Board of Pharmacy licensure is required. Shifts are variable with 40 hours per week, typically 8 hours per day, five days weekly, in a Bay Area setting.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent Required.
• Completion of Pharmacy Technician Program Preferred.
• Coursework Mathematics Preferred.
• Coursework Typing Preferred.
• Coursework General Science Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
