AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to accurately dispense medications and operate hospital pharmacy systems. You will work with pharmacists, technicians and nurses to support safe, efficient patient care and cross‑shift coverage.

The role requires a high school diploma and a pharmacy technician training credential, with reading, writing and spoken English skills and basic computer literacy. Local travel and continuing education opportunities are available.

• Proficiency with hospital computer systems and automation (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Accurately prepares and safely dispenses patient‑specific medication doses.
• Operates and troubleshoots ADCs and pharmacy software; interprets EHRs.
• Rotates stock and maintains inventory integrity, documenting counts.
• Identifies potential medication errors and contributes to safety culture.
• Handles waste and hazardous materials per safety protocols with PPE.
• Participates in improving medication-use processes and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborates with technicians, pharmacists, nurses and staff to ensure continuity
• Contributes to quality improvement and supports training of peers and learners.
• Executes foundational pharmacy technician duties under pharmacist supervision.
