Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is hiring a part-time inpatient pharmacy technician to join our pharmacy team. You will fill and deliver medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and ensure adequate supplies for patient care.

The role requires a Virginia pharmacy technician license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior pharmacy experience is preferred. This is a rotating shift position with a 24 hours per week schedule and a $5,000 sign-on

Competenze

• Pharmacy technician license required in state of practice.
• Virginia Pharmacy Tech License required; CPhT preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Mansioni

• Fills and delivers medications under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Ensures adequate supplies are available for continuous patient care.
• Triages and escalates questions outside the technician's scope of practice.
• Uses appropriate systems for processing patient information.
• Maintains quality assurance per departmental and legal requirements.
• Operates pharmacy equipment appropriately.
