Swedish Hospital in Elmhurst, IL is hiring a Pharmacy Technician II – Inpatient on a per diem basis. Rotating days and evenings with 8-hour shifts; Day shift starts at 6am or 7am (2pm/3pm finish) and Evening shift 2:30pm–11pm, with rotating holidays.

Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, and record-keeping under supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Illinois Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Must obtain CPhT within 90 days or pass PTCB/ExCPT or hold a Student designation license.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
• Maintains drug inventory and records.
• Works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
