UNC Rex Holly Springs Hospital in North Carolina is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists by reviewing, compounding, and dispensing medications under pharmacist supervision. The per diem role has a 4.00 weekly hours schedule with a weekend work pattern onsite.
Qualified applicants will have NC registration (CPhT/PTCB or ExCPT), and prior pharmacy technician experience is preferred. Completion of an academic pharmacy technician training program is a plus.

The Certified Technician provides support to the pharmacist by reviewing, compounding and dispensing medications. All work is carried out under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
Education Requirements: None required as long as other position qualifications are met. Completion of an academic pharmacy technician training program preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements: Registration with the NC Board of Pharmacy unless enrolled in a PharmD program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements: CPhT from PTCB or ExCPT from NHA unless enrolled in a PharmD program.
Professional Experience Requirements: Prior pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
