Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a PRN Inpatient Pharmacy Technician 3 to support inpatient operations and dispensing for both inpatients and outpatients.
The role involves dispensing/transport, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and inventory management within a fast-paced hospital setting. You will ensure documentation accuracy and assist in system maintenance.

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is a designated critical access hospital committed to providing quality health care service to residents in Crawford, Franklin and Washington counties.
The hospital has enhanced and expanded the health care services available to the greater Sullivan community with its state-of-the-art emergency department, modern childbirth center, critical care unit, multiroom surgical suite, expanded cardiac rehab services, and a cancer center. A 22,500 square-foot medical office building provides offices for primary care physicians as well as space for a variety of visiting medical and surgical specialists from the St. Louis area.
Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital operates four rural health clinics providing quality health care to surrounding communities. In addition, the hospital operates a comprehensive Therapy and Rehabilitation department and an award-winning Wound Care Center with two hyperbaric chambers.
The MBSH Pharmacy is responsible for dispensing medications for inpatient and outpatients. Responsibilities also include the stocking and accuracy of our Pyxis machines.
The Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient 3, under the direct supervision a of staff pharmacist and according to standard procedures, provides cross coverage for multiple technician competencies or responsibilities within a focus area. This position serves as a department resource to answer questions and assists in resolving more complex issues. This position's responsibilities may include preparing medication orders, assisting in dispensing and transporting medications, conducting complex sterile and/or non-sterile compounding, inventory management, training, the use of various automated/electronic systems, and maintaining the required documentation & records.
