Job summary
HealthPartners is hiring an Inpatient Pharmacy Intern to assist with obtaining and documenting medication histories for admitted patients under pharmacist supervision. You will enter histories into the electronic medical record and communicate completion to the pharmacist.
The role requires enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program or a graduate of one, and intern registration with the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy. Schedule includes every 3rd weekend and one evening shift every 3rd week.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program or graduate of an accredited program.
- Registered as an intern with the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy.
- Knowledge of professional pharmacy principles and practices.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and document medication histories for patients admitted to the hospital.
- Enter medication histories into the electronic medical record.
- Communicate completion of medication history to the pharmacist.
- Complete other projects as assigned by supervising pharmacist.
