Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana, seeks a Pharmacist to join the inpatient pharmacy team. You will review orders for allergies, interactions, and therapy appropriateness, counsel patients, and ensure safe, effective medication use across a 286-bed facility.

Pharmacists rotate through Pediatrics, NICU, ICU, OR, and ED settings while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to optimize therapy.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Active license to practice pharmacy in the practicing state.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Immunization certification if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for allergy interactions, therapy appropriateness, and interactions.
• Provide patient counseling and promote medication education and adherence.
• Supervise interns and technicians; participate in departmental meetings.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate documentation of requirements.
• Collaborate with clinicians to optimize patient care and safety.
