Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana, is seeking pharmacists to join the inpatient pharmacy team. You will be directly involved in clinical decision-making within a decentralized model and rotate through Pediatrics, NICU, ICU, OR, and ED settings to ensure safe, effective, and timely medication therapy.

Offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a schedule of four 10-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• Current license to practice pharmacy in the state and dispense controlled substances.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medication orders for allergies, interactions, and appropriateness.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to optimize medication use.
• Ensure safe, timely dispensing of medications to care areas.
• Counsel patients and promote medication education and adherence.
• Supervise interns, technicians and support staff as required.
