Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Denton, Texas is seeking a Pharmacist Clinical 1 PRN to provide pharmaceutical care in a clinical setting. You will compound and dispense medications, consult with healthcare teams, and monitor drug therapy across patient populations including neonates to geriatrics.

You will supervise technicians and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards while supporting inventory and purchasing processes within a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist (RPH) license required or eligible.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Less than 1 year of experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient pharmaceutical care meets safety and quality standards.
• Dispense medications and compound per policy and regulations.
• educate patients and caregivers about medications and side effects.
• Review orders for accuracy, interactions, and dosing.
• Monitor drug therapy and advise on changes per protocols.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and manage daily dispensing and IV workflows.
