Specialty Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a full-time float contract in the Gary, IN area. The role involves working with an established pharmacy team in an inpatient setting across two affiliated hospital locations, with coverage based on staffing needs.

Requirements include Indiana pharmacist license, recent inpatient hospital experience, sterile compounding, EPIC/Omnicell/Perata familiarity, and strong communication skills to adapt to different

Qualifications

• Active Indiana Pharmacist license required.
• Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Willingness to float between two affiliated hospital locations required.
• Sterile compounding experience.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Omnicell and Perata preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to different pharmacy workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify inpatient medication orders
• Prepare and oversee sterile compounded medications
• Provide pharmacy coverage at affiliated hospital locations as assigned
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff
• Support safe medication distribution and daily inpatient pharmacy operations
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
