Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work in a union environment.
• Current registration by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Current Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of employment).
• Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of employment).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe, effective and timely medication use throughout the medical center.
• Procurement, storage, preparation and administration of all medications under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Ensure optimal medication use across ages and comply with state and federal regulations.
