Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Pharmacist for a part-time day shift at Baptist Medical Center South. The role covers medication order entry, preparation and distribution to patients, with duties extended to ensure correct prescribing and administration within the hospital setting.

Pharmacist duties may include supporting technicians, inventory management, and handling insurance-related aspects as needed. Inpatient experience is valued and PGY1 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy required.
• PharmD degree preferred.
• PGY1 residency or 3+ years of inpatient practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacist shall be responsible for medication order entry, preparation and distribution for patients.
• Assist in ensuring appropriate prescription and administration of medications.
• Pharmacy Technician supports preparation, inventory assessments and insurance claims resolution.
• Cross training per Technician Career Ladder and other duties as assigned.
