Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in New Jersey is seeking a Staff Psychologist to provide comprehensive support for children, adolescents, and young adults with complex medical needs. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, conducting diagnostic interviews and providing psychotherapeutic care.

This role requires a PhD, PsyD, or EdD in Psychology, New Jersey licensure, and experience working with patients on the Autism Spectrum. The position offers a full-time schedule with flexibility and a range of benefits including paid time off, insurance plans, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• PhD, PsyD, or EdD in Psychology from an accredited program.
• New Jersey Licensed Psychologist.
• AHA BLS Provider Certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 1+ year of job‑related experience in a hospital or clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs psychodiagnostic evaluations with new patients.
• Conducts clinical assessments in cognitive and neuropsychological functioning.
• Provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy as clinically indicated.
• Supports clinical staff through team consultations.
• Attends program development meetings and interdisciplinary case conferences.
