Job summary

WK Medical Center in Shreveport, LA seeks an Occupational Therapy Therapist (OT) for inpatient PM&R. This full-time position runs days, 8am-4:30pm, with weekend rotations and requires licensure by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. Orientation will be provided at the chosen facility.

The OT will work closely with other professional staff to evaluate patients and make placement recommendations within our continuum of care, ensuring seamless, high-quality rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
• Experience in inpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Willingness to work weekend rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT evaluations and recommendations for patient placement within the continuum of care.
• Collaborate with the PM&R inpatient team to deliver comprehensive OT services.
• Participate in weekend rotations at Willis Knighton Health facilities.
